Fuse Jobs - Integrating communities with a cohesive employment plan

Press Release 6th August 2007

Spearheading one of the UK's most pioneering social enterprise initiatives, Fuse Jobs promises to break the mould and bring an inspiring employment service promoting integration and development for segregated communities and first-time job seekers.

The UK's first ever social enterprise jobs site, Fuse Jobs has been responsible for the creation of an exciting new initiative aimed at assisting a range of community groups enter the working environment for either the first time or after a lapsed period of unemployment.

When most advertised positions demand experience in the working environment, the vicious cycle of finding a job is a frustrating and tiresome strain for many skilled job seekers. As a social enterprise initiative, Fuse Jobs is dedicated to merging a willing and able labour force with the myriad opportunities that await them - thus providing a rare gateway into employment for community groups that can at times be unfairly disregarded.

Fuse Jobs director, Matt Haikin clearly comprehends the frustrations of first time and inexperienced job seekers, "It is disheartening to see lists of jobs asking for experience you just don't have, so we've sifted all those out and come up with thousands of London jobs suitable for first timers as well as for those looking for a complete change."

Fuse Jobs aims to fill the labour gap with its reach-out initiative aimed at positive societal development at grass roots level. From school-leavers and dedicated mothers returning to the working environment, to those brandished as dropouts finding it a challenge to be accepted back into society - Fuse Jobs is an enterprise aimed at helping bridge the social gap and promote the positive social structure that today's society so needs.

Every individual is unique and expert advice and guidance will conveniently help tap into relevant, streamlined opportunities. As Matt Haikin explains, "We take jobs from a wide range of sources and filter out the irrelevant ones to create a comprehensive list of entry-level vacancies."

Simple, easy and effective, fusejobs.co.uk provides a competent service for various community groups who are able to search and apply for vacancies online. From ethnic minorities, single parents, school leavers and individuals of the ex-armed forces, to the over-fifties, those dependent upon social welfare and the homeless - Fuse Jobs aims to assist a range of community groups requiring extra help and support in finding work relevant to their skills and personal goals.

As Fuse Jobs director, Amanda Lacey confirms, "Fuse Jobs is the first social enterprise job site in the UK. With a major emphasis on supporting people who find it more difficult to find employment, we work very closely with charities and community groups, providing them with the support they need to help their clients back into work."
